It s critical to thoroughly clean the area you re patching so the adhesive will bond with the roof.

The rubber roofs on rvs and many commercial buildings are a good roof for the most.
If the membrane is intact you do not need an rv roof replacement in this situation.

Wrinkles are very common on rubber roofs.
I had them on my previous rv 5th wheel without any problems for years.
Typically the seams on the roofing material plywood or whatever are taped over prior to the rubber membrane being glued to the surface.
Expansion or contraction of the rubber and some small areas with adhesive issues do occur resulting in bubbles wrinkles at times.
Weight the patch until it s dry.
After you ve cleaned it apply the primer let it dry and then use the adhesive sealant to attach the patch to the roof.
Many of the glues used really don t adhere well to the tape which results in the wrinkles that are typically seen.
